Hello Friends,
Just a few months ago, we lost our friend Paul.
Paul was an artist, a craftsman, an animal lover, and the creator of the beautiful Rainbow Bridges that so many people have come to treasure as memorials for beloved pets.
Then, on June 13, we lost Pat. I can hardly believe those words are true.
Pat was the heart behind this project. She gave her blessing for Paul's remaining bridges to continue finding homes and for his story to continue reaching people long after he was gone.
None of us expected that in such a short time, Paul and Pat would both be gone.
And yet, the mission remains.
Less than 30 of Paul's handmade bridges remain.
Every bridge was handcrafted by Paul himself. No two are exactly alike. Each one carries with it not only the memory of a beloved pet, but now also the legacy of two people whose lives touched many others.
For many families, these bridges have become a meaningful way to honor a pet who left paw prints on their hearts. Others have purchased them as gifts for friends navigating the difficult journey of pet loss.
With Pat's passing, carrying this project forward has become even more important to us.
We believe Paul's bridges still have work to do.
They remind us that grief and love often walk hand in hand. That even in loss, beauty remains. And that sometimes the things built quietly in a workshop can outlive us and continue bringing comfort to others.
If you've been considering purchasing one of Paul's bridges, now is the time. Fewer than 30 remain, and once they are gone, there will never be another made by Paul's hands.
We would love for you to visit the collection, learn more about Paul's story, and consider sharing Rainbow Bridge of Hope with others who may find comfort in his work.
All the details are in the link below, including how to purchase a bridge or make a donation.
We would also like to recognize and thank our current sponsors for helping us continue this effort:
• The Cleanup Firm - accounting and bookkeeping for service based businesses - construction companies, tree service, pool cleaning, landscaper, plumber, electrician. You get the idea. We are a trusted partner of the trades for all things accounting and business!
• Dennis Langdon - realtor and inaugural sponsor of Rainbow Bridge of Hope. Dennis is a gem of a human being and a wealth of knowledge in real estate and real estate development.
• PRM Spray - a product made out of love for a mother’s hand pain in Wyoming turned into something shared across the world!
Their support has helped us continue sharing Paul's legacy and making these bridges available to families across the country.
If you or your business would like to become a sponsor, we would love to hear from you. Sponsorship support helps us expand awareness, reach more families, and continue honoring the work Paul dedicated so much of his life to creating.
Most of all, we ask that you share this project with anyone who may be grieving the loss of a beloved pet. Sometimes a simple reminder that their companion is remembered can mean more than words ever could.
Thank you for being part of Paul's story. Thank you for helping carry Pat's vision forward. And thank you for ensuring that these bridges continue to bring comfort, hope, and healing to others.
With gratitude,
Jason & Amber Laird
Rainbow Bridge of Hope
